Inconstruction

Photo: Nicolai Strøm

Inspired by the cartoonist Robert Crumb's way of focusing on the ugly or messy part of a land or cityscape in his drawings Nicolai Strøm created this series for F&A Magazine. "Such a huge part of our surroundings is distinguished by ugly buildings or intrusive wiring that we just come to accept it, and we get so used to it that it just gets lost in the grey of our everyday impressions. This series, I think, lifts it up a bit, not just aesthetically, but also as a subject for discussion"

You are the same decaying organic matter as everyone else

Fredrik Raddum creates fantastic sculptures that remind us of the irony, and longing for a better existence we sometimes encounter in life. He also shows a link between the organic human being and nature in a unique way, this made him perfect for F&A's latest issue: TRASH

Venus Envy

I put a spell on you. Heidi Taillefer
Heidi Taillefer is a surrealist painter taking on themes of bio-mechanics, sexuality, maternity and general oddity. A very interesting maximalistic style characterizes her paintings and they are done with a good portion of humor as well.
